Daily Duties at The Bancorp:
Provided C-Level administrative support to two Executive Vice Presidents in the Commercial Real Estate Lending Division. The primary responsibility of the role was to ensure that the needs of the executives and departments were prioritized, organized and executed towards maximizing productivity and service. Provided triage to communications for the executives and ensured that any additional information they might need to respond to communications was available. In addition, any matters that could be handled without the executive were managed or delegated accordingly. Each day, a review of active projects, communications and events were covered in a brief session with my managers where further instructions and new assignments were provided. Handled many tasks and situations involving challenging clients, administration and ongoing development in the office. Led or participated in team projects as needed. Exceeded expectations in event planning and coordination of a co-sponsored annual golf outing. Functioned with a broad degree of latitude, financial trust and creativity. The responsibilities of the Office Manager involved supervision of a staff of three to ensure seamless operation and productivity in all facets of office operation. Consideration of global company policy, employee morale and budgets required. The office staff increased by 75% (approximately 80 employees) over a 5-year period. Smooth on-boarding and growth required extensive coordination and planning with building management, facilities and IT. Developed procedures and checklists for all office activities, including a reception services manual, a vendor management process and multiple checklists. Provided assistance with audio-visual and IT needs when necessary and trained staff on new company software and equipment. Approved all invoices (supplies, overnight mail, subscriptions.) Managed equipment ordering and facets of on-boarding and termination support for the entire office. Also responsible for the division's Disaster Recovery document for Philadelphia office.
What they like about The Bancorp:
You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
