• Managed 4 Supervisors, with the ultimate responsibility of 100 individuals in a fast-paced emergency medicine billing environment; 55 clients, 2 million annual patient visits generating $182 million in client revenue, resulting in $16 million for PST yearly • Planned, staffed, motivated and developed Accounts Receivable Team consisting of 23 hourly employees; and also Accounts Payable Team consisting of 6 hourly employees • Oversaw departments to include customer service, payment posting and support services • Recruited, trained, developed and motivated all staff • Maintained accurate payroll records, conduct monthly evaluations, administer annual appraisals and performance management to ensure personal and professional growth of all team members • Routinely monitored performance results and provide feedback • Communicated goals, policies and procedures necessary for attaining quality results • Developed knowledge of Federal and State Regulations (including HIPAA and EMTALA guidelines) in the ever-changing healthcare industry • Assured quality in all business practices and adherence to compliance standards • Constantly developed workflow processes • Created and facilitated training programs locally and at other PST offices • Identified trends and issues necessary to achieve client revenue targets and increase income • Actively participated in overall financial success of clients and PST • Reviewed managed care contracts and fee schedules for accuracy; necessary to recoup correct payments from payers • Ensured overall profitability by monitoring and managing expenses within departments and office-wide • Created and implemented Employee Incentive Plan, while continuing to make changes and enhance the plan • Documented internal hiring process • Organized and plan employee appreciation events • Extensive use of all MicroSoft Office applications
