Recruited to turn around the technology department for a leading manufacturer of consumer-oriented pet products sold through big box retailers. Also responsible for enabling the company to utilize technology to provide a competitive advantage, implement new strategic capabilities, and foster transparency into IT projects and initiatives. Lead and manage a team of 16 members to peak levels of performance, consistently developing their skills to increase overall productivity level. Responsible for the management of a $5M annual technology budget, planning annual expenditures, project allocation and preparing for future technology acquisitions to ensure budget compliance while maintaining a competitive edge through innovation.
