Responsible for the administration of the Student Counseling Service; manage budgets of over $1,800,000; make personnel decisions (hiring, firing, promotions, demotions); provide staff with annual performance evaluations; develop strategic plans; establish policies and procedures; represent the Division of Student Affairs at various functions; serve as acting Vice President for Student Affairs in the Senior Vice President’s absence; provide consultation for the Vice President for Student Affairs, Deans and other Directors; provide consultation for professional staff regarding client issues; provide clinical supervision to staff psychologists and interns; provide clinical services; conduct outreach programming; provide crisis intervention; chair the Employee Assistance Advisory Committee; serve on and/or chair other university and division committees, task forces and advisory groups.
