Daily Duties at Allergan Pharmaceuticals:
As a urological medical consultant I promoted Botox, Sanctura, Sanctura XR, Aczone and Tazorac to urologists and dermatologists to prescribe; and primarily managed the sales efforts of Botox to urologists on a buy-and-bill format within a territory spanning North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. I was responsible for cultivating existing and new customer sales primarily in private practices and hospitals. I utilized a consultative process and value-based selling techniques to address specific customer educational, technical, clinical, and reimbursement needs. My duties also included developing a comprehensive territory-specific business plan that involved strategies and tactics aimed at achieving quarterly sales goals and identifying and parlaying new business opportunities within my assigned territory. Ongoing internal requirements were: satisfactorily passing in up-training classes; adhering to assigned operating budget and accounts for all funds, materials, and equipment; and promoting company products within approved label in a comprehensive, fair- balanced and ethical manner that is consistent with legal and regulatory guidelines.
