Daily Duties at Nintendo Of America:
• Monitors over 30,000 Windows and Linux servers in both production and development environments. • Manages virtual systems using VMware ESXi. • Validates errors and resolves server performance issues using Zenoss to configure device monitoring needs. • Ensures that all consumer facing applications (Nintendo eShop Services) are running 24/7. • Documents all troubleshooting steps and solutions via Confluence Jira and Wiki. • Monitors production applications and jobs on AS400 on an hourly basis. • Installs, configures, administers, maintains and monitors appropriate technologies for business use. • Ensures optimum access, performance, capacity and availability of technologies deployed. • Runs regular operations, production, jobs, backups, recovery plans and reporting as required. • Administers technology user accounts, provides technical support and alerting on technologies.
