Daily Duties at Golden Living Center:

As primary leader over the Dietary Department, conduct post-admission patient visits to conduct intake assessments, including leveraging testing and interviews to gather anthropometric measurements, lab values, current medications, and medication schedules. Create detailed nutritional assessments, leveraged to develop a therapeutic patient care plan for a wide variety of patients – including enteral feeding patients and the critically ill. Gather information on food preferences. Provide recommendations and dietary support for food allergies, weight management, and medical issues. Oversee menu planning, diet calculations, and nutrient analyses. Contribute to quality management and all Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings. Update and manage charts. Coordinated in-services, posters, and article presentations
