Daily Duties at Praxair Inc:

Led team of ETL, BI, and data architects, both offshore and onshore model, including contractors. I was the project manager, managing all phases of the project, ie analyze,design,build,test and go live. Set best practices and standards. Supported corporate consolidation and planning, including support, patching, administration, and upgrades and enhancements. Led global strategic projects. • Served as IT Project Manager, replacing corporate consolidation and planning application with Hyperion (including HFM, HP, FDM, ODI, and Essbase) successfully. • Completed 4 very large projects, with 17 projects running. o PALS: Guided consultant firm Cap Gemini during replacement of Global Data Warehouse (GDW) for distribution and operations work, ensuring best practices and standards (data modeling, ETL, and reporting) were followed and signing off on milestones. o GEMS: Built data warehouse for Global Employee Management System (GMS) from ground up. o Hyperion: Replaced global consolidation and planning application with Hyperion and Oracle Exadata. o JDE-package: Migrated package system from CU (Alpha) to JDE and created and maintained data warehouse for purchase-to-pay and recording-to-reporting modules.
