Daily Duties at State Farm Insurance:

1. Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development 2. Manage the sales administration function, by streamlining processes and systemsas needed, and creating an environment where customer service is number one. 3. Responsible for managing the sales agency team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and budget controls, while meeting agreed targets, and promoting the agencies presence in the county. 4. Create an annual marketing plan, specifically advising on realistic attainable sales objectives, for each product line. ( Based on historical data, market trends, competition, promotional programs and sales initiatives. 5. Ensure all sales activities are in accordance with state insurance guidelines. 6. responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, and control of salesagents to accomplish specific goals. 7. Design and implement an appraisal system that describes the the resposablities and performance standards for each member of the agency staff, set individual sales and commissions targets and administer the commission plan. 8. Provide ongoing training to insure agency staff are up to date and compliant with state insurance rules and regulations and product training to present information on the companies products in ab accurate and professional manner.
