Daily Duties at Calsonic Kansei:
Primary responsibility was to assess system durability & performance through OEM development phases [VC, PT1 & PT2] of cockpit climate control systems. This also extended towards the production & validation of new tooling/processes. Oversaw small technician staff in execution of rigorous customer testing schedule. Diverse testing requirements demanded a thorough understanding of airflow, sound, heat transfer, refrigeration & analog electronics. Engineering prediction calculations such as Kinematics, Gear Torque, Component Stress, System COP, Heat Exchanger Energy Balance & Pressure Drop were frequently employed to supplement & justify engineering evaluation. In addition, Six Sigma methodologies were regularly employed for rapid defect detection.
