Daily Duties at Sanitary District Of Decatur:
•Co–operate with sub-contractors on work in progress ensuring they are meeting federal, state, and city compliance in regards to OSHA guidelines. •Ensure that quarterly safety training and all other specifically required training are provided for all employees. •The development, implementation and updating of required written safety and health programs and plans. •Manage the safety committee team and attend monthly meetings. •Establish and monitor a program for reporting and investigating “near –miss situations” •Conduct accident, incident and injury reporting and investigations. •Responsible for all safety equipment purchases and maintenance. •Creating preventative maintenance work orders on all safety equipment and safety audits. •Accident and incident investigations. •Coordinating all work comp claims and employee drug testing/DOT. •Replenish, track and maintain all safety equipment, materials, and PPE. •Comply and maintain all EPA and OSHA 300 records and logs.
