Daily Duties at U.S. Navy/Uss Abraham Lincoln:

Responsible for leading a team of nearly 25 enlisted public relations specialists in communicating the Navy’s message to internal and external audiences via multiple mediums. - Led a media department through a seven-month deployment; encouraging innovative products such as “The Boat Show,” and an expansive use of the command’s Facebook page to reach friends, family and external audiences. - Planned and executed successful visits from the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Navy the Chief of Naval Operations and the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy and hosted numerous other distinguished visitors, increasing understanding of internal issues and the public’s understanding of the Navy. - Assisted in the planning and execution of an eleven-day end-of-deployment friends and family embark as the schedule of events lead, introducing approximately 1,400 civilians to life aboard an aircraft carrier.
