Daily Duties at Railpower Locomotives / Hybrid Technology:
Accountable for the development of the business plan and it’s execution for Sales and Marketing Department. Made complete assessment of potential customers, with the understanding that the area’s that we would be successful in needed to be in the EPA, Air Quality Non-attainment zone, and in a state that worked closely with the federal government on CMAQ funding opportunities. These primarily targeted large metro areas, in California, Texas and Illinois. While the money for the locomotives was largely coming from Federal Grants, the customer’s main driver was still reliability and reduction in fuel costs.
