Daily Duties at Archibus, Inc:
1. managed all aspects of localization projects including communicating with vendors, business partners and regional sales people outside US. I selected a translation vendor after meeting with multiple companies and managed translation vendor relationship. The criteria was price and capability. 2. daily status update (conference call) with localization testing team consisting of local and offshore engineers 3. Maintaining and extending the localization publishing software written in Basic script that propagates the database-driven glossary and translation terms to ARCHIBUS/FM databases, C++, Basic, JavaScript, HTML, AutoCAD, Crystal report and XML files 4. Making localization builds in 9 languages with Visual Studio, Java and StarTeam every quarter 5. Made localized databases with about 500 tables for Oracle, MSSQL, and Sybase in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Korean and 2 Chinese
