Assigned to a 25-physician emergency medical practice; developed and executed strategies to improve the operation and dynamics and develop the practice into a growing, efficient operation. Organizational Structure: Helped develop the infrastructure necessary for success; developed policies and procedures; identified and addressed issues with Managed Care Organizations including negotiation of contracts. Culture Change: Transformed culture from a silo mentality into a team environment. Created and assisted in the development of committees that researched issues and made recommendations on changes; established a communication chain of command to keep all staff up to date. Revenue Stream: Continuously networked to establish and nurture relationships with key decision makers at hospital/health systems to increase perceived value and expand and grow the practice and increase revenue.
