Oracle (Atg/Endeca) Work Values

Daily Duties at Oracle (Atg/Endeca):

• Developed and applied metrics or KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) to enhance quality of QA work across all QA groups and creating data warehouse solution for reports using OBIEE. The initial setup was done in 3 months and continuos update was added. • Managed about 50 QA and automation engineers (10 in Cambridge, MA and 40 in Hyderabad, India) for multiple projects for ATG and Endeca product. For each project, I had to do weekly conference calls for status checkup • Helping other departments like customer support, product management, and demo team set up complex eCommerce systems on VM and frequent support when they had new requests. demo eCommerce system was set up by fully utilizing ATG and Endeca components. • Worked in a project for moving on-premise eCommerce system into cloud based eCommerce system. This was a 2 year plan to make cloud based system and many of the existing codes and framework were reused. • Moved 30,000+ QTP based automation scripts to Selenium based automation scripts in planned stages. original plan was to do it in 5 years but we were able to finish it in 4 years. • I drove accessibility and localization testing efforts to test 22 languages and many more locales by coming up with complete test plan and work schedule and risks. I met with the localization team at least once a week to track progress • Helped teams transition from waterfall to agile development environment by coming up with agile process for the group and improving the process every sprint. The whole agile process stabilized after 4 - 5 sprints.
