Daily Duties at Fircroft (Contracting Company):
Provide new-employee Health & Safety orientations, and develop materials for these presentations. Make recommendation measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes or materials. Develop & implement hygiene programs, such as noise surveys, continuous atmosphere monitoring ventilation surveys, & asbestosis management plans. Participate in scheduled & unscheduled inspections and audits, hazard hunts of work spaces to reduce potential incidents / accidents. Monitor workers use of proper PPE and use of CO2 , H2S monitors while on site. Conduct daily pre-tour safety meetings and tool box talks of updated operational & simultaneous operations and any relevent changes in scheduled of planned job task. Participate & review of daily JSA (Job safety analysis) prior to commencement of the job. Review Contractors Safety plans policy's & procedures for the project to ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures & federal regulations. Conduct safety training and demonstrate proper use of safety equipment. Coordinate "Right to know program" regarding hazardous chemicals and other substances. Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, and first aid supplies. Investigate accidents to identify causes & determine how such accidents can be prevented in the future / Lesson learned. Maintain & update emergency response plans. Review and maintain hazardous materials & hazardous waste using waste tracking systems to ensure materials are handled safely. Order suspension of work activities that pose threats to workers health and safety. Ensure and promote to all workers they have a right to " Stop the job" culture of any job if deemed unsafe.
