Daily Duties at Service Express Inc:
1. Manage a staff of 50 pick up and delivery drivers, 40 dockworkers, 6 supervisors and 4 office clerical on a daily basis. 2. Allocation of external assignments to drivers to ensure work was prioritized for the time definite deliveries. 3. Oversee the Dock workers on the 170,000 square foot facility that processed 90,000 cartons a day by way of inbound and outbound scans to assure 100% accountability of all freight 4. Maintain a budget along with daily P & L statements, and handle Human Resources 5. Plan routes to get the largest number of deliveries handled in one area without dealing with crossover drivers and to dispatch throughout the day and know the position of drivers at all times to all 700 retail locations. 6. Train new hires and ensure they meet company requirements. Administer and hold classes for all refresher courses with current employees
