Developed and prepared agency strategic budget plans, financial analysis, spending plans and variance reports. • Oversaw all financial operations and transactions for both personnel and non-personnel activity. • Trained staff working on fiscal operations including budget forecasts, revenue, claims/receivables, budget modifications, and cost transfers. • Managed all phases of the City budget cycle including submissions to Office of Management and Budget. • Managed fiscal management in establishing agency financial priorities and cost-saving initiatives to prepare Program to Eliminate the Gap (PEG). • Provided regular spending updates and analysis to Fiscal Management and provided high level reports to the AC of Finance and Executive DC. • Prepared various high level financial reports and makes recommendations to the Executive DC. • Improved finance procedures to consistently support OCME program managers. • Created user friendly reports and budget tracking systems for program managers and executives. • Works with program staff to develop and write grant proposals/applications. • Ensured compliance with federal grant regulations and guidance. . .
