Rewind Magazine Work Values

Daily Duties at Rewind Magazine:

• Responsible for making sure the magazine is financially viable by setting the bi-monthly budget, balancing expected revenue from advertisers, subscribers and other sources against expected expenses such as staff, distribution and production. • Work closely with the editor to define the kind of content that will appear in the magazine, including regular features and sections. This includes approving photos, articles, and layout. • Assist with editing articles. • Supervise the magazine’s production by making sure assigned articles and features are completed on time and fit the space assigned. • Review entire content of the magazine along with the editor, prior to it going to print. • Prepare flat plans, color schemes, and layouts for each issue. • The public face for the magazine – Attend conferences, workshops and facilitate meetings for the magazine.
