Daily Duties at Wasatch Advisors:
Analyzed companies in the biotech and pharma industries by creating detailed earnings models, reviewing SEC filings and financial reports, and communicating with company management, suppliers and competitors. • Closely interacted with senior management of up to thirty companies to identify buy and watch targets, interviewed Wall Street analysts and industry insiders; attended up to fifteen national investment conferences. • Incorporated research and analysis on existing and new holdings to form recommendations on potential buy and sell ideas; 80% of these were implemented by Portfolio Managers.
