Daily Duties at Sprint Nextel:
Managed the design and construction of mission critical data center, switching center, laboratory, and infrastructure upgrade projects throughout the United States. Projects included DC power, UPS, emergency generator, open and closed loop HVAC, FM-200 fire protection, smoke and leak detection, and security systems in both raised floor and slab-on-grade environments. Responsibilities included developing scopes of work, selection and oversight of A/E firms, permitting approval and issuance, bid package preparation, contractor selection, construction oversight, commissioning, closeout, and turnover to end-users. All projects were successfully completed without disruption to service and within established budgets and schedules.
