I delivered care to the renal patient utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. preparing the dialysis equipment, Oversees the dialysis treatment from beginning to end. Cannulates access, cleans and dresses catheters. Secure bloodwork, and administers medications. Monitor the patient and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets and documents information. Identifies irregular dialysis reactions and notifies appropriate medical team members. Teaches patients and family members how to manage their illness, by explaining, post treatment home care needs, diet, nutrition and fluid restrictions. Medications and how to self administer if needed.
