Daily Duties at Thayer County Sheriff Office:
I was afforded ther responsibility to work all aspects of law enforcement from road patrol to investigations. As a patrol officer, I enforced traffic laws, conducted DUI and drug enforcement, patrolled communities, and performed security patrols and door checks. As an i nvestigator, conducted all aspects of the investigation from taking the initial call for service, making contact with the victim, interview witnesses and suspects, preparing evidence and submit to repsective laboratory for testing, prearing arrest, search affidavits, affecting the arrest, report writing, and courtroom appearances.
