Managed new product development and NPI processes of optical communications test systems. Built House of Quality chart (spreadsheet) to analyze customer requirements, define functionalities of the new product that will deliver the benefits to meet the customer requirements, and determine the technical feature set that will enable the functionalities in collaboration with R&D Department, balancing time to market, financial objectives and competitive advantages. Conducted competitive analysis. Crafted messaging in coordination with Marketing Communications Department to competitively position new product with differentiated value proposition statements. Scheduled allocation of demo units. Managed value-pricing of new product for competitiveness and maximal profitability. Developed go-to-market strategy and managed the worldwide launch of the new product. Presented customer demos in support of field sales around the world. Managed phasing out of old product. Represented Tektronix as a member of US delegation to the ITU-T standards body in Geneva, in the O.172 Working Group on Jitter & Wander Measurement.
