Daily Duties at Kentucky State University:

As Interim Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs, my responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following: Budget development and management, faculty hiring, evaluation, professional development, tenure, promotion, and post-tenure review. When necessary I also managed faculty terminations. The University Registrar's Office and Library. and the Land-Grant program were also under my supervision. The Office of Sponsored Research and Graduate Studies were also within my scope of responsibilities. My responsibilities also included oversight for Student Academic Support Services which included academic advisement, tutoring, adult learning center and continuing education. I also provided oversight for TRIO programs (Upward Bound, Student Support Services, and the GO College Program, the Governors Teacher Recruitment Grant, The Rosenwald Child Care Center, Academic program assessment and evaluation, program development,
