Daily Duties at Vitae Pharmaceuticals:
• Initiated and completed multiple studies assessing biomarker changes in human tissue including blood and skin from diseased and healthy donors • Developed a whole blood assay using human or non-human primate blood for test compound screening based on the inhibition of TH17-family mRNA and protein secretion • Differentiated multiple Human T cell subsets (TH1, TH2, Treg, Tc17, TH17) from human PBMCs in vitro to screen small-molecule inhibitors for target inhibition • Studied compound efficacy on the inhibition of cell growth and viability of tumor cell lines using multiple assays including CFSE, AnnexinV/7AAD, MTT, and Luminescent Cell Viability assays • Skills employed to identify mechanism of action by small-molecule inhibitors include multi-parameter Flow Cytometry, Western Blotting, TaqMan-based real-time PCR, electro-chemiluminescent ELISA, Western Blot and alpha-screen • Contributed data and protocols for due diligence reports, NDA, and IND filings • Participated in and contributed data to regular meetings with team leaders and key opinion leaders • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, FlowJo analysis software, and Graphpad Prism
