Daily Duties at Kellogg Brown & Root Services:
- Provide Procurement, Logistics & Subcontracts support to a project that was valued in excess of $385M. - Hired, trained and managed purchasing agents and subcontract administrators to provide procurement support to the project. - Ultimately led, supervised, and managed 3 US based purchasing agents to purchase USG approved materials and equipment. Managed 18 subcontract administrators at various overseas locations responsible for soliciting competitive bids, awarding and administering construction services subcontracts with foreign contractors. - Worked closely with engineering and construction coworkers to develop scopes of work and bills of materials to ensure timely and efficient procurement. - Worked with Freight Forwarder Service provider to ensure timely consolidation and shipment of equipment and materials nearly 50 overseas locations over the five year project period. - Interfaced with vendors to resolve discrepancies, disputes, and delinquencies. - Provided procurement status to senior management on a weekly basis.
