Daily Duties at Pernix Group, Inc.:

- Review engineering and construction requests for materials/services. - Meet with internal customer to review and clarify drawings, specifications and/or scopes of work. - Perform market research to identify potential sources of supply. - Solicit pricing, evaluate pricing and lead time, make award recommendation to requestor. - Award purchase orders and subcontracts. - Coordinate with suppliers to expedite submission of schedules, material submittals, and delivery of supplies/services. - Confirm timely receipt of materials at consolidation point. - Resolve discrepancies and disputes with vendors as necessary. - Coordinate with Freight Forwarding Service providers on logistics and shipping of materials to job site to ensure no negative impact to the construction schedule. - Maintain procurement files, process vendor invoices for payment, close out and archive files.
