Directed daily operations of an 18 bed labor and delivery unit responsible for the multi-faceted program/care delivery system. Managed staff of 20 providing clinical supervision, floor assignments, staff development and productivity standards. Other responsibilities encompassed hiring, scheduling, training, compliance, chart audits and performance evaluations. Deliver in-depth clinical/educational programs for patients/families. Introduce new techniques/innovation based on advanced practice trends toguide nursing staff in program/organizational implemenation.
