Daily Duties at Zones, Inc:
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues. Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints. Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers'problems. Resolve customers'service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills. Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders, using computers. Advise clients on transportation and payment methods. Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents. Estimate freight rates and record shipment costs and weights Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems. Classify goods according to tariff coding system. Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. Pay, or arrange for payment of, taxes and duties on shipments. Sign documents on behalf of clients, using powers of attorney. Clear goods through customs and to their destinations for clients Calculate weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved. Prepare shipping documentation, such as including bills of lading, packing lists, dock receipts, or certificates of origin. Provide shipment status notification to exporters, consignees, or insurers. Verify proper packaging and labeling of exported goods.
