Director of Product Development/Sourcing, Blinds To Go 11/2013 to Present: Reported to the Vice chairman and President, Manages Product Development and quality teams in US and Taiwan, work directly with Merchandising and Material Planning, Identify key product needs and work with vendors to develop and test these products prior to marketing on a timely basis . Project management and product sourcing, driving with an entrepreneurial desire to build the company, Manage and maintain working relationships with key suppliers to drive continual product improvement and innovation. Supervised and Implemented Product Safety Testing for US and Canada. Dir. of Engineering, Ultimate Inc., 2003 to 11/2013. Developed engineering construction plans and manage construction projects, budgeting, planning, material ordering and selection. Responsible for overall management of maintenance and engineering functions. Directed and controlled all operational functions, resources, personnel; developed and implemented a team-based environment of employees through multiple levels on accomplishing production goals and quality standards. Manage plant in cooperation with corporate support functions including Sales, Technical Services, Tooling and Maintenance to insure maximum Gross profit and ROA.
