Daily Duties at Astrazeneca:
• Assist in managing income, franchise, sales and use and other state and local audits. • Responsible for the gathering of information, analyzing reserve accounts and preparing tax adjustments for the U.S. group tax model for RBU/ABU process. • Responsible for quarterly tax account reporting to the Controller’s group including the Core Tax Account Schedules and the Exhibit 6.5 (reporting to Merck). • Prepare and analyze information that is used for the year-end tax provision, as well as interact with outside auditors to explain the calculation for the year-end tax provision. • Prepare and forecast the annual U.S. group effective tax rate. • Assist Manager in responding to IRS requests for information. • Assist in the preparation and review of federal compliance returns.
