Daily Duties at Astrazeneca:
•Deliver high quality Finance Support as Lead in US Region in the Global Discovery finance Team. •Accountable for consolidating and communicating the total budgets for the Functions (globally or regionally) working closely with the Business to understand cost drivers within both current and future planned activity. •Operate in the functionally aligned Global Discover Finance team, as a Global Finance Business Partner and Function Lead Analyst that shares best practice, delivers global consistency and challenges key functional decisions. •Provide expert support to Function VPs in meeting their budget accountabilities. •Challenge functional manager’s plans including forecast assumptions, and monthly phasing to ensure realistic planning and optimal AZ decision making is achieved. •Prepare presentations for Global Discovery budget review meetings with EVP Discovery and R&D Finance Function VP.
