Daily Duties at Acension Health Ministry Service Center:
• Led a team of what started as 14 leave of absence case managers, leave coordinators and RN case managers through a period of tremendous growth and transition to a empowered group of 28. Handled daily attendance and human resource issues. • Provided day to day oversight for four hospitals in different geographic regions and unique benefit plans including short and long term disability, FMLA, workers compensation, personal and military leaves, with an extensive human resources focus. • Develop and implement constant improvement and ensure regulatory compliance is met. • Developed and implemented new work flow systems to increase efficiency and eliminate manual processes. • Resolve escalated/complex associate issues that required managerial intervention or other process areas. • Ensured delivery of business results by meeting or exceeding all contractual service level agreements and managing Leave Management costs. • Developed and train team to provide exceptional customer service to Ascension Health Associates and vendors.
