Daily Duties at L 3 Communications:
Supervise program total life cycle cost expenditures and budget of $115M to include system & facilities support for seven base locations with the Navy and Marine Corps. Supervise efforts and funding on IED enhancements to the Combat Convoy Simulator (CCS). Develop metrics and data collection support on program systems usage for cost avoidance. Supervise delivery, installation and Training systems to Naval and Marine Corps Bases. Coordinate and oversee IT modifications and upgrades for FCCT convoy systems. Facilitate requirements development for modifications CCS Weapons, Afghanistan Database, AAR upgrades. Assist and review program documents to include: Systems Engineering Plan, Life Cycle Cost Estimate Document, Capabilities Production Document, Fielding Plan, CONOPS, MCSAMP. Assist and supervise Information Assurance (IA) efforts with training systems. Establish and serve as Program Chairman for CCS Configuration Control Board. Develop and provide briefs to DoD Flag officers and Government VIPs. Serve as Tech Lead / supervisor responsible for hiring and administrative management of 28 employees.
