Daily Duties at Mpri:
Subject Matter Expert to the Afghan Ministry of Interior (MOI) Department of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Network Operations Center. I advised the NOC leadership on writing the IT polices used by all MOI personnel using the MOI network. I prepared recommendations for encrypting emails. Developed the framework for a comprehensive training program for the MOI ICT Training Section to train MOI personnel as IT and radio technicians, administrators, operators as well as professional development plans and policies identifying professional career paths and training requirements for officers, enlisted, and cadre training requirements for the ICT training program. Advised the MOI leadership through the process of incorporating stand-alone databases for finance, personnel, logistics and medical into the MOI network so the information is available to all authorized personnel requiring access to these databases.
