Daily Duties at Cerner Corporation:
• Develop and document training material for operational support teams to ensure they can be effective in maintaining Voice systems • Develop and maintain documentation for policies, standards, strategies, and architecture for Voice systems and services • Work with the Voice Systems Service Owner to ensure benefits of proposed Voice solutions and their associated ROI are clearly communicated to upper management • Consult with application development teams regarding voice systems requirements and adherence to architecture standards • Manage supplier and customer relationships, representing Company in a professional manner consistent with their ethics and values • Constantly analyze industry and market trends to stay current and provide insight relating to Voice systems and related technology that best support our overall business strategy and needs • Conduct testing and develop disaster recovery plans for Voice systems in order to detect faults and provide the necessary level of resilience, redundancy, and backup • Monitored performance, system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning and ensured system availability and reliability • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications like UCM, UCCX, MPE, Unity, NSTS and DRSN • QoS Design and Implementation experience (Video, VoIP, Transactional Services, etc.) • Experience with LAN Switching: Access, Distribution & Core layer, Spanning-tree, HSRP, 802.1q trunking, PoE • One or more years of experience working with Cerner Millennium solutions
