Daily Duties at The Buffalo Group:
Accountable for directing warehouse operations and performing audits to identify and resolve inventory and material supply issues for Dyn Corporation International client with locations in Afghanistan. Established and enforced standards, metrics, and met improvement targets in purchasing, inventory, logistics, and planning. Created and ensured SOP processes were followed regarding storage and disposition, as well as documentation was accurate. Oversaw department safety training and assured compliance of material requisitions; conducted workshops to help employees understand material control, shipping and receiving functions. Applied knowledge of 5S and Kanban in managing projects. Supervised logistical team of up to 150 personnel.
