Daily Duties at Oklahoma Air National Guard:
Uses principles of logistics, supply chain, distribution, and operations management to achieve goals. Leads an integrated cross-functional logistics team of 98 personnel for procurement, sustainment, and distribution of essential equipment, supplies, and transportation to support global requirements. Serves as resource advisor and planner for acquisition and distribution logistics activities; plans for and manages systems, subsystems, transportation, and equipment throughout their life cycle. Formulates logistics operations/fiscal policy for weapon systems support and deployment. Steers daily operations in support of $36 million in equipment and supplies domestically and abroad. Develops plans, programs, policies, and procedures to manage material management activities including systems design and analysis, determination and computation of requirements, plans for activation and inactivation, facility requirements, equipment allowances, and material accounting. Directs distribution management operations to include managing cargo distribution functions such as receiving, inspecting, tracing, tracking, packaging, and shipping of supplies and equipment. Responsible for logistics pipeline management and time-sensitive delivery of material and equipment.
