Daily Duties at Continuing Care Leadership Coalition :
• Develop and maintain relationships with elected officials and high-ranking staff in New York State Legislature, City Council, and Federal government. • Lobby, advocate, and implement active mobilization to advance legislation and key policy issues. • Monitor, analyze, and identify key legislation and budgetary policies. • Develop, edit, and assist in moving and advancing legislation on behalf of association membership. • Assist in planning yearly Annual Meeting for a large membership driven trade association which includes all logistical details such as identifying a speaker, advertising, and planning a timeline. • Plan and coordinate, large events including lobby days, town hall and community forums, and trustee’s breakfast.
