Daily Duties at Cowen&Co.:

• Prioritize the flow of information and communication to and from busy executives, managers, and programs • Anticipate and proactively act upon business needs and identified areas of concern for key executives • Manage extremely busy executive calendars, including coordination of internal/external meetings and travel • Work closely with key personnel as lead administrative assistant on special projects • Provide clear direction and communication in assigning tasks to and supervising associates and subordinates • Communicate effectively with extensive use of email, telephone and fax; route communication to proper party • Schedule and coordinate personnel and services for meetings, teleconferences, and events • Administer human resources functions, including employee evaluations, PTO tracking, and payroll processing • Review, analyze, and report on expenditures to ensure accuracy and integrity of spending and accounting data • Organize files and records to maintain in accordance with government regulations and corporate guidelines
