Daily Duties at Perspectives Charter School:
As a Case Manager, my primary responsibilities were to serve as a department leader and a liaison for students with disabilities. I managed compliance of federal and state regulations, evaluated and monitored programs, instruction, and services provided to diverse learners. During this time, I conducted classroom observations and data analysis to provide feedback regarding the effectivesness of instructional practices, and it’s impact on student achievement. I also provided coaching to newly hired Learning Behavior Specialist and led professional developments on; IEP goal writing, adapting curriculum, instructional strategies, student engagement, lesson planning, effective collaboration, behavior management, progress monitoring, and implementation of accommodations and modifications. Furthermore, I coordinated and facilitated all team meetings, created class scheduling for teachers, paraprofessionals, and students, supervised Paraprofessionals and service providers. In doing so, I maintained effective communication with all stake holders and established positive relationships with Clinicians, Students, Teachers, Parents, Administrators, and outside agencies.
What they like about Perspectives Charter School:
You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
