Program Director, Industrial Rehabilitation & Out-Patient Rehabilitation (1992 – 2012) Handled all facets of staff supervision, marketing, service coordination, statistical management / analysis, case and budget management, and conducted referrals. Marketed programs through presentations to employers, civic groups, case managers, health providers, attorney groups, and university classes. Organized statewide, yearly conferences on rehabilitation services and education. Held health fairs for community events, health providers, educational seminars. Developed flyers, brochures and newsletters. Supervised and managed the fitness center. • Designed, developed and managed free-standing sports medicine program called Trails West and CARF Accredited, not-for-profit industrial rehabilitation facility, named Company Care, providing necessary, ground-breaking services for the geographical area. • Performed job site / ergonomic analysis, post-hire pre-confirmation screens, prevention and health management programs, prevention / fitness consultations, and drug screens, ensuring a comprehensive, one-stop-shop for referral sources. • Created and implemented an outpatient Arthritis AH! / Aquatics program, incorporating a one-of-a-kind TURTTLE pool. • Contributed to and advanced Rural Family Practice Residency Training Track in Kearney, resulting in physician awareness of available rehab services. • Implemented committee and restructured job descriptions throughout Health Systems by adding physical demand characteristics. • Reorganized and strengthened Employee Health, benefiting employers and employees with increased health education. • Redesigned and upgraded Infectious Disease Clinic, providing timely, precise care to a compromised population.
