Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman:

Held lead role for major PeopleSoft 8.9 consolidation of HR IT functions across military branches – (DIMHRS Defense Integrated Human Resource System); Evaluated and made recommendations on PeopleSoft 9.0 HR software release; conducted FIT gap sessions to determine process re-engineering needs.  Enabling the elimination of 52 Army systems.  Replacing the majority of manual approvals.  Easing personnel transfers by providing flexible security configurations.  Enhanced member benefit determination using an automated rules engine.  Targeted results to increase the productivity of 80,000+ HR users. Led five separate integrated project teams, ranging in size from 15 to 25, of HR subject matter experts who represented a cross-section of Army/Air Force (Active, Reserve and Guard) personnel. Directed two-to-three week FIT gap sessions to review existing processes, design solutions, and identify hiring, position, and configuration requirements. Drafted decision documents to explain design alternatives; developed test scripts and scenarios and reviewed project work products for interfaces

Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity.
