Daily Duties at Paradisus Sol Melia Resort & Casino:
Led the start-up of the Hotel’s exclusive area, the Royal Service Hotel. Participated in the implementation of the company’s policies, creation of standard and procedures manuals, and employee recruitment selection process. Supervision of operations of the Royal Service areas which included a private lounge, Housekeeping department, F&B personnel, Butler services, and Front Desk personalized services. Performed Human Resources activities such as personnel related reports, policies and procedures implementation, resolved labor law issues, new employees’ orientations, disciplinary/corrective actions, and training. Accountable for the management of luxury hotel operations including 96 suites and 6 villas. Provided support to the Human Resources department in employee related issues. Developed alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
