Directed, and coordinated human resources management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintained functions such as employee relations, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance for more than 120 employees at all levels. Executed start-up of the Human Resources Department. Maintained records and compiled statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates. Assured compliance with federal and local labor laws, corporate policies and safety and health (OSHA) procedures. Advised managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures. Revised Employee Handbook and update as necessary. Worked with leadership team of the Caribbean Division in the Portfolio Element team to ensure the corporation’s business rules around Talent Management are understood and used as the team’s deployment operating platform Succession Planning.
