Daily Duties at Excellims Corp.:

Led research and development projects in analytical methods for portfolio of internally and externally driven projects for government security needs, life science, pharmaceutical industry, and food safety, including $2.2M in externally funded R&D. Direct report to President/CEO and bridge across engineering, research, and manufacturing teams to capture customer needs and translate to product features. Managed, supervised, and executed research in analytical methods. Tasked with all reporting functions to stakeholders at both higher and lower levels, as well as peer teams. Provided troubleshooting of in-house research instruments to quickly resolve problems for scientific team and to communicate necessary repairs/software updates to engineering team and technicians to maximize instrument up-time. Prepared sample and instrument, then performed demonstrations for customers; trained customers in instrument operation remotely and on-site, then coordinated and provided after-sales troubleshooting and support as customer service lead.
