-Accountable for all new product development activities within organization. -Oversees New Product Development group of five engineers; third in command behind Director of Engineering. -Leads, coordinates, and mentors internal & external teams on all new product projects through the entire lifecycle. -Assesses potential partners for senior management through comprehensive research and evaluation criteria. -Directs all qualitative market research through field observations and in-depth customer interviews as part of a human-centered design initiative. -Organizes competition review sessions for senior management and internal groups to raise product knowledge. -3D CAD and PLM Software Administrator; grants user access, troubleshoots issues, and trains new engineers.
