Daily Duties at Fts International:
One of my primary responsibilities was Inventory control, building reports and performing analysis for Inventory reduction and looking at ways to move inventory around to other locations where we could utilize existing inventory instead of buying new. Worked as a buyer where I was responsible in sourcing items from lower cost vendors and taking into consideration all cost when sourcing items from multiple vendors. Shipping cost, higher quantities could result in higher savings and also vendors we got an annual rebate from on total purchases.
